Hot or Not?

What's up beauties!? Today on Hot or Not? I am going to be reviewing the CHI 44 Iron Guard Thermal Protection Spray.

What they claim:
Provides superior heat protection from the inside out
Protects against styling and finishing damages from the hottest heat styling tools
Hair will remain silky and shiny
Your styles will last longer with use
Softens and balances hair locking in the moisture
Style can be regenerated with heat again and again
Ideal with all CHI irons

Pros:
Protects from heat damage
Your hair looks shiny after use
Easy to apply to hair
Doesn't tangle your hair
Doesn't weigh your hair down when curling it

Cons:
Leaves your hair feeling sticky and greasy
Your hair gets dirty easier
Your hair gets crunchy
Long time to dry in your hair even if you spray it twice
The smell (For some people)
Your hair sizzles in the iron
Your hair feels dry (For some people)
Does wear out after a certain amount of heat is applied to the hair
Have to reapply after blow drying and before other heat styling

Over all I give this product a 3 1/2 stars out of 5 because it does add shine to your hair and does protect from heat which it's suppose to do but my hair is greasy by the end of the day and it does dry my ends out.  After the product is completely dry and I start styling my hair, my hair sizzles in the iron and it doesn't do that when I don't have the product in my hair so I will not be repurchasing this product at all.  Try it out for your self to see if it works for your hair because remember every hair type is different and so different products work for different hair types and unfortunately this product is a not.

Back To School- Outfit

Back to school is just around the corner if you haven't already started and I know how complicated it can be to choose the perfect outfit for your first day back.  You want to have the perfect outfit but no look to over done.  So here is one perfect outfit that will help you rock your first day back.

It's still going to be hot out so stay cool by rocking some light weight khaki shorts and a nice white flowy t-shirt.  In case one of your classes is blasting the AC you can bring a darker beige long sleeve button down blazer or jacket to throw on. For accessories, add a big yellow statement necklace for some color, a nude ring, a big headband, and for shoes, any kind of brown shoes will do.

I hope this helped you get an idea of your first day back to school outfit or even an outfit just in general to wear.

Hot or Not?

Hey Beauties! This week for Hot or Not? I am going to be doing Maybelline New York Fit Me! Foundation and I am in the color 125 (Nude Beige)

What they claim:
Give you flawless looking skin
It's beyond matching, fresh, breathing, natural looking skin
SPF 18

Pros:
SPF 18
Great coverage
Matches almost every skin color perfectly
Affordable
What ever color you are in the foundation its the same for the powder and concealer
No oils or waxes
Translucent base and light weight pigments
Dermatologist tested
Easy to apply
Last all day
They also have blush and bronzer
Easy to blend
Doesn't tend to dry out my skin

Cons:
Easy to over apply
Can easily look cakey
You have to put powder over to avoid looking oily
Leaves your face feeling gooey
Hard to take off at night (even after washing your face)
To look flawless you have to over apply it
Looks splotchy
Looks streaky if applied with a foundation brush
Feels heavy on my skin

I would rate this foundation a 3 out of 5 stars and I might repurchase if I don't find a better drug store foundation and powder.  The powder is amazing as well as the concealer so I don't know what went wrong with the foundation.  But don't let my opinion affect your decision about getting it because it does give good coverage and it doesn't dry out my skin like a lot of foundations tend to do.  Try it out for yourself and let me know how you like it and how many stars you give it or if you would repurchase it.

Collared shirts

A fashion must-have for every girl's closet is a collared shirts. There are many different types of collared and many different ways to style them.  My personal favorite is the collared shirts that are see-through a sleeveless.  I love tucking them into high waist shorts with a bandeau underneath and the shirt buttoned all the way up.  This look looks adorable and clean and you will always look put together.

They sell these type of shirts in many different designs and you can get them anywhere (Forever 21, H&M, Love Culture, Urban Outfitters, and any teen clothing stores) They range anywhere from $10-$40 so they are super affordable.
